On February 1 I had the chance to check out the Disney's Fairytale Wedding Showcase at the Disneyland Resort. I registered around October of last year, and tickets were $40 per person. Parking was complimentary at the Fantasy Parking Lot in front of the Disneyland Hotel, just made sure to print out my confirmation page for the event.
The event itself started from 2pm - 5pm, but you were allowed to check in around 1pm. Online I signed up for a tour of the Grand California Hotel and Paradise Pier hotel, so I checked in a little bit before 1.
Once we got to the hotel, we went to the Disneyland Center Lounge to register and got a lanyard with our names on it, a tote bag with a USB drive that had more info about Disney's Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoon's, a map of the layout of the event, an envelop that had one raffle ticket for the giveaway they were holding, one ticket for a complimentary drink (only soda, wine, or beer), and a ticket for a free gift at their boutique.

Once I got all our credentials, I joined the first tour of the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. We walked over to a few venues in the hotel, our guide explaining the square footage and how many guests can fit, as well as explaining the art and architecture in each room.

Once we were done checking out the venue options at the Grand Californian, we moved over to the Paradise Pier Hotel to check out the one venue at that location. They also had a basic table setup for wedding packages.

After we were done checking out those hotels, we headed back to the Disneyland Hotel and decided to check out the boutique to see what they had to offer. They had shirts for both Bride and Groom, as well as glass cups, Minnie ears, Mickey hats, ornaments, frames, and more. We used our gift ticket to get our free gift which was a cute little bag that had a Cinderella carriage pin, a Disney Fairytale Wedding Button, a rice crispy treat, and a luggage tag.

Once we were done at the boutique, it was time to enter the Grand Ballroom which had food samples, vendors, and a cake display. We walked around and saw different vendors from photographers, officiants, hair and makeup, and more. Soon there was an announcement that you could meet Donald and Daisy. They were so cute and definitely dressed for the occasion.

We decided to go check out the cakes Disney had on display. One was a projection cake that would show different scenes from your favorite Disney movies, the other was a traditional cake. Both were absolutely gorgeous.

We decided to sample the wedding cakes they had, which was Pineapple Dole Whip Cake and Churro Cake. Both were very delicious, not to sweet and over empowering. After trying those, we walked outside the hotel to see the venues on the lawns as well as Cinderella's Carriage. We were able to take a pic with the carriage and it was a fun surprise when the coachman came by with Cinderella's glass slipper.

After that magical experience we saw the Rose Court Garden and the Adventure lawn. Both locations were lovely and had wonderful setups.

Afterwards, we headed back to the Grand Ballroom to try some samples of food. They were all servings of small portions; they had a filet mignon sandwich, scallops, cake, risotto, and hors d'oeuvres. We also used our free drink ticket and got a glass of Shirley Temple to compliment our sampling.

Soon there was an announcement that Mickey and Minnie where out to take photos. They too were dressed to impress.

At 4:30pm they held the giveaway, there was a total of 7 winners. My mother and I just spent the rest of the time walking around and enjoying the event. I highly recommend checking it out if you have the opportunity. Even if you won't be having a Disney Wedding, it is still nice to get out and get some ideas, and vendor information for any kind of wedding.
