A few months ago I visited The Broad museum in Los Angeles with a friend. The Broad is a contemporary art museum located in Downtown Los Angeles.

It is free to enter, although they do have special exhibits that you do have to pay for if you choose to check it out.

It is recommended to go online and reserve a time slot for you to enter the museum.

The most popular exhibit is Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Rooms. Some tips I suggest to see this room if you are not able to reserve a spot online, is to get to the museum during it's opening hours. Once you enter over on the left hand side is a kiosk where you can enter your name and phone number to enter the virtual queue. Believe me, it is definitely worth to check in and see.

Once my friend and I did that, we took the time to go upstairs and check out the rest of the museum.

Once you enter the room of The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away, you have about 30 seconds to take pictures and enjoy your time in there. (Idk if the time varies depending on how busy the museum is that day.) While in there it does seem like time flew by, but also felt like just the right amount of time.

Take caution for those that have a light sensitivity issue or deal with epilepsy because the lights in the room do flicker and strobe from time to time.

The Broad is a nice and free museum to check out for a day. It takes about a few hours to fully enjoy which leaves just enough time to check out the other buildings around there such as The Walt Disney Concert Hall and MOCA.
