Holiday Time Tour at Disneyland 2019.

ree

If there is one thing to try and experience when you visit the Disneyland Resort, it's definitely one of the tours they have to offer.

Disneyland offers not just VIP tours, but other fun and historical tours throughout the year, even during the holidays.

The fun thing about the holiday tours, is that the free gifts you receive at the end changes every year! So it's another fun thing to do for pin collectors.

Below I will go into more detail about this years Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Tour!

Separate ticketed event

The Holiday Time tour is a separate purchase from your park entrance ticket/annual pass. It is best to call 30 days ahead from when you plan on attending, although you might get lucky calling a few days before. Always depends on how busy the park is. Once you call Disneyland Tours at (714) 781 - 8687 and book the tour, you can get a discount if you are a Disneyland Annual Passholder or Chase Disney Visa Cardholder. The price for the tour before the discounts was $99 and with the discount came out to be $84.

Day of the Tour

On the day of the tour, we checked in about 20 minutes before the start of the tour and got our name tags.

Soon our Tour Guide Izzy came and gave us a headset and listening device so we can here him talk throughout the tour. We first began the tour walking to Disney's California Adventure where we stopped along Buena Vista Street before moving towards the Festival of Holidays.

Our guide talked a bit about the history of the holiday season celebrated in different cultures. We soon make our way to Trolley Treats where we get our first treat with a tour, an Abuelita chocolate fudge with marshmallows.

Once we got our treat, we made our way back to Disneyland where our guide talked more about the history of the holidays celebrated at Disneyland and how much it meant to Walt Disney. When we went to Adventureland we made it to the halfway point of the tour which meant we got to have a bathroom break. After that we walked around the park some more before making our way to It's a Small World where we got to cut the line and go on the ride. Once we were done, we followed our guide to a reserved section to view the parade. We have come to the end of the tour and we get a chance to sit in reserved seats to see A Christmas Fantasy Parade. Once we chose our seats, we got a collectible travel mug, Mickey gingerbread cookie, and collectible pin.

Soon the parade starts as we enjoy our treats and have a magical time. Once the parade was over the tour was officially done and we could and enjoy the rest of our day at Disneyland.

I've done this tour 6 times so far, and I love it every single time. Each year somethings are a bit the same, but they do change some of the stories they tell and where we walk. Also each year the souvenir coffee mug changes as well as the collectible pin. So if you are an avid pin collector wanting exclusive pins, the Disneyland tours are definitely for you. The tour is good for everyone of all ages, although it might be hard for the little ones with all the walking and talking lol I do highly recommend the tour if you have a chance.
