If there is one thing to do if you are out visiting Maryborough, QLD Australia, it's check out the Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a not-for-profit sanctuary that has all kinds of wildlife animals such as birds, dingos, snakes, wallabies, and kangaroos.

Pricing

For an adult to enter the sanctuary, the ticket is $15 AUD (~$10 USD). Teens from 13 -18 years old is $12 AUD (~$8 USD). Children 3 - 12 is $8 AUD (~$5). Children 2 and under are free. Seniors/Concession is $10 AUD (~$6 USD). They also have a Dingo Experience for $15 AUD per person, and a Snake Experience $10 AUD per person.

The proceeds go towards taking care of the facility and animals.

Feeding the Kangaroos and Wallabies

For an extra cost, you can buy a bag of kangaroo food so you can walk around and feed the kangaroos and wallabies.

The animals were super sweet and some would follow you around to try and get more food lol It was such a wonderful experience.

After feeding them, we walked around the rest of the sanctuary looking at birds, snakes, and dingos. The sanctuary itself is really small and it would take about an hour to experience everything.

It is something I do recommend checking out at least once if you are ever in the Fraser Coast.
